REDIP

The centre hosts re-known researchers and experts to conduct studies on best practices and norms on urban-rural linkages in Africa and beyond. The focus is how urban-rural development influences or is influenced by the functional relations between urban and rural spaces. This is from multi-level, multi-sectoral and multi-scale perspectives within the sustainable development framework. Information is disseminated through print, electronic, internet and other modes of publication. Similarly syndicated policy conferences, workshops, seminars and related public platforms are used to share research findings to academic community, policy makers planners and development managers.
